VW Golf R (Mk8) Hits the Dyno with Cobra Sport Turbo Back Performance Exhaust - TR Hamza

Posted by Cobra Sport Admin

The VW Golf R is a favourite amongst tuners thanks to its highly capable EA888 2.0L turbocharged engine, TR Hamza set himself the target of exceeding 450BHP with a stage 2 setup and after initial tuning found a big restriction in the factory fit exhaust system, he turned to Cobra Sport to help him to reach his target.

The solution was Cobra Sport's performance optimised valved turbo back exhaust. The full Cobra Sport exhaust system has been designed to maximise the flow of exhaust gasses, delivering an optimal increase in performance and sound.

The turbo back system was put to the test at MRC Tuning where the car received a specialist stage 2 remap and produced 458.6BHP, an increase of 25BHP when compared to the standard cat back exhaust teamed with an aftermarket downpipe and same stage 2 remap.
