Warehouse / Workshop Assistant

Permanent / Full Time

We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly team in Sheffield.

The Role
As a Warehouse / Workshop Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

• Order processing and packing, which includes order picking from the warehouse and packaging of all mail order items for delivery to customers
• Being responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of workshop and warehouse storage areas
• Using some workshop machinery including polishing and cutting equipment and the lifting of heavy objects. Full training will be given on workshop procedures


The Person

The ideal candidate for the role of Warehouse / Workshop Assistant must be / have:

  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
  • Smart and professional in appearance
  • Confident and be able to converse politely with colleagues
  • Organised and have an ability to multi-task
  • Highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Hardworking and have a good attendance and timekeeping record
  • Willing to learn new skills



About the Rewards
For the role of Warehouse / Workshop Assistant there is on offer:
• A salary of £10 - £12 per hour, depending on experience.
• Paid holiday - 4 weeks plus 8 days statutory holiday
• 42 working hours PW (Mon- Thurs 7.30 – 5.00 / Fri- 7.00 - 2.30)
• Staff Parking

TIG Welder / Fabricator

Permanent / Full Time

We are now recruiting for a TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our friendly team in Sheffield.

About the role
The role of a Fabricator / Welder involves working within a passionate team responsible for fabricating and TIG welding various products to the highest standards. Key activities involve:
• Successfully achieving the daily planned production schedule
• Maintaining and striving to improve, production quality
• Contributing to the smooth operation of the workshop

About the hours & rewards
As a Fabricator / Welder, you will work Monday to Friday, 42 hours a week and the benefits are:
• Salary negotiable depending on experience.
• Daytime & weekday work only / Early finish Fridays (No weekend work – unless on overtime)
• 4 weeks plus 8 days statutory holiday (New holiday scheme pending)
• Christmas/New Year Shutdown

About you
As a Fabricator / Welder, you must have a professional approach to work and possess the drive and energy to contribute to a flexible, fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall performance and growth of both companies and you must have / be:

• A proven track record of the highest quality TIG / MIG welding and general fabrication
• Able to produce work of a high standard within given time constraints
• Have a good attendance and timekeeping record
• Open to new ideas and make a positive contribution to the team
• Some experience in small bore pipe welding / Jig work and stainless steel fabrication, (advantageous not essential)
